I can't believe it's December already.
Only 12 days to go before Christmas.
I still can't feel the Christmas "spirit", or whatever it's called.
And I haven't bought a single Christmas present yet.

Here's something I wrote last Monday:
Last week, Lance Corporal Daniel Smith was convicted for "raping" a 23-year-old Filipina hiding behind the pseudonym, "Nicole". I have followed the Subic Rape Case since it started last year, although not as avidly as I did on One Tree Hill. And I have my say on how the case ended. Actually,me and my friends and other people in our classroom all had the same reaction.
WE WERE DISAPPOINTED.
But I won't say why......teehee.....
And I've observed some things which I found amusing.
First, Daniel Smith has become somewhat a celebrity here. Last week, on Smith's second day at the Makati City Jail, there were a group of people which posed for a picture in front of the jail. And I was like, "Uh, okaaaaaay. Ano yan Buckingham?" I was almost expecting them to ask the jailguards if they can bring Smith out for a while so that he can pose with them. HAHAHA.
And second, guess the initial reaction of some girls when they found out that Smith is sentenced to 40 years in prison.

But yes, it's undeniably true naman, di ba? Sayang! And to think na he's only 21! Tsk tsk. Li even remarked," 40 years? E di pag nakalabas na siya di na siya guwapo nun." Me, "OO nga." Karl, at one point, said,"Ilalabas ko siya dun!" Then "Gagawin ko siyang inosente."Aruu! Still, I just found it cute that Smith, now a convicted rapist, could still sweep girls off of their feet. AXE effect? Hehe
But I was just thinking, what if Smith is ugly? As in ugly ugly? Yun bang mukhang rapist talaga? Then maybe there won't be disappointed tongue-clickings or escape plots from young girls...and gays. In short, no one will care if he's found guilty or not. Except of course those rallying groups who's of the opinion that the case is related to the Philippines' integrity...or something.To the left, to the left.What's with the song ba?
